Alderman Cogan’s is visited by a Gold Medal Winning Paralympian!

There was much excitement at Alderman Cogan’s on Friday 11th May when we were visited by gold medal winning Paralympic tandem cyclist Adam Duggleby. Adam joined the Great Britain Cycling Team as a pilot to Steve Bate in 2013 and he piloted Steve to two gold medals and a bronze at the Paralympic Games in Rio in September 2016.

The children were able to watch Adam’s medal-winning performance, learn about representing their country in sport and ask Adam lots of questions. They even had the opportunity to hold REAL Olympic medals!!!
